At Blossom South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we encourage resident and family feedback. As we are operating under new management, we have been working hard on making changes to improve the facility, activities, and quality of care. Below you will find just a few of the comments we have received concerning the changes we have made.
If you would like to add your own testimonial or recommendation, please e-mail Kristina Brandt, Director of Marketing, at email@example.com.
“To all the staff,
We would like to thank all who took care of our beloved Benjamin Zeitz, while he was in your facility! We greatly appreciate all that was done for him!
Thank you all.”

“I’m so excited for the zoo trip and the baseball trip coming up. We never did anything like this before with the old Blossom South. I didn’t really like it here before, but now I do. I hope we get to have more trips.”

“So much has changed at Blossom South recently and I’m so happy to see it. I came in for a tour last month and the place looks so much better than what I was anticipating. I especially loved seeing the refurbished rooms and look forward to seeing what other changes are still to come.
The residents looked like they were enjoying themselves when someone came in to sing for them and the staff were all so attentive and friendly. Keep the changes coming!”

“Thank you so much for publishing the newsletter. My mother is a resident of Blossom South. She has been there 12 yrs. I now reside in South Carolina. It was a difficult decision to leave her in Rochester. She is 95.
… I see all the good things that are going on at both Blossom [facilities]. Believe me I have seen it all in the years mom has been living there. The good, the bad, the indifference. What Medicare problems there have been, etc. I enjoy keeping up with y’all. Even if mom can’t remember participating in an event, I know what is happening.
What you are doing is making a difference in the quality of life for people living at Blossom, both short and long term. Please keep it up. I do like your Facebook page.”

“I remember coming to Blossom years ago to visit my mother and to be honest, it wasn’t a very nice facility. Very dirty and the staff weren’t very nice. I was shocked when I came in for a visit and saw how clean everything is and how nice the staff were to my mother and myself. What a difference! You don’t hear a lot of good things about this place, but I have to say I’m happy with the new direction Blossom is heading in. I got to meet the new administrator, director of nursing, and a few other nurses who took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. I didn’t get that before.
So glad someone finally decided to take care of these people properly. I look forward to my next visit.”
